Orchids Australia Published bi-monthly by the Australian Orchid Council. This Website has details of the latest issue and of recent Australian Orchids of the Year, as well as an excellent selection of links.
Orchids Magazine Published by the American Orchid Society is a bi-monthly bulletin. This Website has links to their bookshop as well as to other useful sites.
Orchid Digest A quarterly magazine from the US for people who know about orchids and want to know more. It also has links to other useful sites.
The Orchid Review Orchid journal of the Royal Horticultural Society is the oldest orchid magazine in the world. Published quarterly, this is also the official journal of the European Orchid Council.
The Orchadian is published by the Australasian Native Orchid Society. The title says it all! They have a number of photographs of various species.
The Orchid Species Society The first species orchid society in the world! Their Website has a number of photographs, as well as details of the Society, which is based in Brisbane.
Orchid S.P.E.C.I.E.S. NSW meets monthly, on the second Wednesday, at West Pennant Hills, New South Wales.
Orchid Species Society of Victoria Based in the Melbourne suburb of Forest Hill, the Society is a member of the Orchid Societies Council of Victoria, and meets monthly, on the second Monday.
The Species Orchid Society of Western Australia (Inc) has a Website with extensive photos of WA native species, as well as copies of its newsletter.
Australian Orchid Foundation is an approved Research Institute. The members are dedicated to promote orchids. The foundation maintains a Seed and Protocorm Bank, and they have scientific and cultural handbooks available for purchase.

NZ Native Orchid Group This Website has copies of the Society’s Journal, as well as information about New Zealand’s native species, and genera.
Australian National Botanic Gardens Their website has a vast range of information about Australian flora.
Native Orchid Conference fosters the study, conservation, and enjoyment of native orchids of the United States, and Canada.
Orchid Conservation Alliance Supported by a number of individuals and orchid societies. The Alliance aims to conserve orchids in their native habitat. They contribute to buying areas of native forest, to help protect the orchids, flora, and fauna, in those reserves.
Orchid Species Preservation Foundation has a vision to establish and maintain a world renowned centre of excellence for their collection of orchid species. The collection will be utilised for education, conservation, research, and propagation of rare or endangered species orchids.
Orchidwire.com lists an enormous number of orchid sites (organisations, and vendors) around the world, and are worth a look if you are searching for something.
Burleigh Park Orchid Nursery in Townsville, North Queensland, has a website that includes flasks, plants, articles and photos.

The 8th International Orchid Conservation Congress will be conducted in Perth, Western Australia, 3-6 September, 2024. Southwest Western Australia is the Wildflower State, with more than 400 orchid species, many of which will be blooming at that time.
The 23rd Australian Orchid Council Conference and Show will be hosted by the Woolgoolga District Orchid Society in Woolgoolga, New South Wales, 1-5 October, 2025.
